Craig Grossman GENERAL PARTNER

Craig has over fifteen years of experience in transformational "creative class" place-making and neighborhood revitalization. Craig spearheads the leadership, operations, management and development of mixed use / commercial real estate assets and ignites the creation of innovative communities with a focus on the entrepreneur, meticulously curating local and independently owned businesses. His expertise is in differentiating assets and neighborhoods through innovative marketing, targeted leasing efforts, hands on management and specialized development of his properties. Craig focuses at Arts & Crafts Holdings in leading its long-term strategic vision, community development and leasing and operational initiatives.

Craig was the driving force behind the successful development of Midtown Village in Center City Philadelphia, which originally comprised of 24 properties and just over 400,000 square feet of commercial, residential and mixed-use space. Upon taking title to the properties, Craig managed the master planning, architectural and design process, and rehabilitation and construction initiatives. Focusing on luring Philadelphia-based entrepreneurs, start-ups, unique boutiques and food and beverage operators to the properties, Craig led the transformation of a two block blighted area of Center City Philadelphia on and around South 13th Street, once a "red light district," into one of the most exciting and popular live/work destinations in Philadelphia.

Craig graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 1990 and received his Masters in Business Administration from Baruch College in 1998. Craig lives with his family in Center City Philadelphia.

 

Aaron Cohen, GENERAL PARTNER

Aaron has fifteen years of experience in diverse commercial real estate functions. His real estate expertise is in the investment in and financing of complex mixed use, office, retail, hospitality and multifamily assets. Aaron is responsible for identifying, structuring and executing acquisition opportunities and the strategic development initiatives of Arts & Crafts Holdings' growth. Additionally, Aaron maintains a private investment platform through Citizen & Company. His prior experience includes serving in a development management capacity for Brandywine Realty Trust. At Brandywine, Aaron was involved in various initiatives including the over $1 billion development and planning of the transformative mixed use Cira South project, which include office, residential, retail and hotel components. While at Brandywine, Aaron also managed the entitlements, development planning and financial underwriting for the company's five million square foot commercial office development pipeline. Aaron received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University with a major in Architecture. He also holds a Masters Degree in City Planning and a Degree Certificate in Real Estate Design and Development from a joint program between the Wharton School of Business and the Graduate School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. Aaron lives with his family in Center City Philadelphia.

 
 

Mike Gejer, PROJECT EXECUTIVE

Michael serves as a Project Executive consultant for Arts & Crafts Holdings projects, specializing in complex project planning, contractor negotiations, and all aspects of project management. Michael previously worked for Gilbane Building Company where he was a Senior Project Manager. At Gilbane, Michael managed projects with multimillion-dollar budgets, including complex high-rise residential construction. Michael received his B.S. in Architectural Engineering & Construction Management from Penn State University.

 

Kaitlyn Pufnock, CONTROLLER

Kaitlyn has eight years of experience in accounting leadership with a passion for developing teams, people and processes. Kaitlyn currently oversees all aspects of accounting including property operations, treasury, debt compliance, and investor reporting. Prior to joining Arts and Crafts Holdings, Kaitlyn served as AVP and Controller of two public real estate investment trusts with a total enterprise value of approximately $4.0 billion. In this capacity, Kaitlyn was responsible for developing and managing a large team of professionals and all aspects of financial accounting and operational performance of internal controls. Kaitlyn holds a bachelors of science in business administration from Bloomsburg University but really wishes she was a lawyer. Kaitlyn lives with her amazing dog Jackson in Center City Philadelphia.

 
 

Julie Lee, PROJECT MANAGER

Prior to joining Arts and Crafts Holdings, Julie was an architectural designer for Poskanzer Skott Architects, in New Jersey. She managed architectural services for a commercial real estate portfolio, which included providing design services for tenants, construction drawings for building permits, and strategies for tenant space allocation. She completed various projects including a multi-phased project for a biotechnology company, an affordable and supportive housing project featuring the adaptive re-use of an existing barn, and a library renovation. Through the NYU Stern Urbanization Project, she worked with the Urban Expansion Initiative for the preservation and creation of public spaces in Valledupar, Colombia. Julie received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and her Master of Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business specializing in Real Estate, Finance, and Strategy.

 

Kelly CG Edwards, COMMUNITY RELATIONS

In her role at Arts + Crafts Holdings Kelly spearheads programming, event planning, and special projects coordination for tenants and residents throughout Spring Arts District. Her approach to relationship management is from a sociological standpoint, with an understanding of city planning and people's interactions with each other. She is consistently striving to connect clients with colleagues to create unique and engaging new relationships. She lends her technical background in urban planning to the team through grant writing, community development and government relations efforts.
